ASA champions regional engagement as a cornerstone of successful upskilling strategies. In a time of rapid transition, regional ecosystems are key to making skills policies real and tangible.

Strategic Partnership for a Just and Sustainable Transition

Signed on 9 November 2023 in Pamplona, Navarra, Spain, this Working Agreement establishes a strong network of:

  • European automotive regions
  • Industry, SMEs, and education providers
  • Policymakers, social partners, and local stakeholders
Goals
  • Deliver support for upskilling/reskilling tailored to local needs
  • Promote regional best practices based on ASA’s intelligence
  • Use the Just Transition Mechanism to enable equitable change
  • Advocate for a unified regional voice at EU level
