BaTT Teachers Forum Hydrogen VET Forum

Teachers Forums & Capacity Building Programmes provide vocational education and training (VET) teachers, trainers, and educators with direct access to emerging technologies, industrial practices, and European expert networks. Through specialised international courses and hands-on learning activities, the Automotive Skills Alliance and its partners support educators in preparing the future workforce for Europe’s green and digital transition.

  • BaTT Forum – Batteries Teachers & Trainers Forum – Developed within the Erasmus+ CaBatt project, the BaTT Forum strengthens battery-sector education through international training programmes for VET teachers and trainers. The initiative covers battery production, automotive applications, stationary batteries, raw materials, recycling, maritime batteries, and emerging energy storage technologies. Events combine online learning, practical workshops, company visits, and peer-learning activities, creating a European network of battery educators and supporting excellence in battery skills development.
  • Hydrogen VET Forum – Organised by the Automotive Skills Alliance together with leading hydrogen and motorsport partners, the Hydrogen VET Forum provides teachers and trainers with first-hand experience of hydrogen mobility technologies. Hosted at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, the programme combines expert-led workshops, online learning, practical demonstrations, and networking activities focused on hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen combustion engines, safety procedures, and industrial applications. Participants engage directly with industry experts and cutting-edge hydrogen technologies while earning a micro-credential upon successful completion.

Together, these programmes strengthen the capabilities of educators across Europe, foster collaboration between industry and training providers, and help ensure that future generations acquire the skills needed for the evolving mobility, battery, hydrogen, and clean energy ecosystems.

Creating Impact Through Collaboration

All training initiatives and platforms foster collaboration between ASA members, aligning learning supply with labour market needs.
